Diversity and opportunities

Malmö, with its 300 000 residents, is the third largest city in Sweden and the 6th largest in the Nordic Countries. Together with Copenhagen (in Denmark), Malmö is a part of the expanding Öresund Region, which is the most densely populated area in Scandinavia. Malmö is a young city with half of the population being under 35 years old and is known as the commercial and cultural centre of southern Sweden as well as being the world’s third most innovative city*. With 177 different nationalities and 150 languages spoken in Malmö it is also one of the most international cities in Sweden.
While being an expanding city Malmö is still very relaxed and a cosy seaside city with beaches and nature around the corner. The distances within Malmö are short and you can find great shopping, food, amusement and culture.
